Dr. Jason Farrell graduated, with honors, from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1998. After S.L.U., Dr. Farrell attended Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine receiving his D.V.M in 2002 and practiced on the northshore for 7 yrs before opening Hickory Small Animal Hospital. He was also a part time instructor at S.L.U. for several years. His goal is to offer the best veterinary care possible for your pets. |

Dr. Melissa McCormick performed her undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University. She then went on to the L.S.U. School of Veterinary Medicine, receiving her D.V.M. in 1997. She has spent the past 13 yrs practicing locally in the Hammond area and is a new addition to our staff. Dr. McCormick's goal is to always treat her patients with the same care and compassion as with her own animals and to offer preventive care to keep those you love happy and healthy for as long as possible. |

Dr Guedry received her Bachelor of Science from Nicholls State University. She then went on to L.S.U. School of Veterinary Medicine receiving her DVM in 1980. Dr Guedry was the first woman to serve on the Louisiana Board of Veterinary Medicine and served from 1994 - 1999. For 25 years Dr. Guedry has worked for the Louisiana Academy of Veterinary Practice offering continuing education for veterinarians. |

Dr. Ashley Leggitt graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 2006 with a B.S. degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine/Animal Science. She then attended Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2010. She previously practiced companion animal medicine in Houston, Texas, before joining the team at Hickory Small Animal Hospital. Dr. Leggitt believes in practicing compassionate, high quality medicine with an emphasis on preventive care.
